Excerpt from "A History of the High Elves"
"The world that we inhabit today, Aerthrealm is just one of many different worlds that float in the grand Astral Sea, original home to the Uberdaemons (known to men as the Ancient Ones), the gods before the gods. Then the Predaemons came (the Elder Gods). They were young and wild, and sought power, so they waged war on the Ancient Ones. With their ancestors vanquished, they ruled over the Astral Sea and formed great worlds, but none so great as Valhealm, the fortress homeworld of the Elder Gods.
The Elder Gods lived in paradise as they ruled supremely and with an iron fist, rightly they did what they pleased. Eons came and passed, and the Elder Gods birthed a new generation, the Daemons (the Gods). Though they were like their parents before, and sought power. The Elder Gods, wiser than their predecessors, banished the Daemons from Valhelm, to travel the Astral Sea and it's lesser planets for the rest of their days.
The Gods, with nowhere to go, traveled to a far away world that they deemed, Outerrealm. They touched the world and its life, spurring the birth of the High Elves, first of the Elven races, and they prospered..."
